If it's custom, it goes as big as you can pay for.
My mom bought a prefab here in Chile, it was like 6k USD, two bedrooms, living room + kitchen (has like sort of a bar, get the idea?) and a small bathroom, it's like a beach house, we have it in case everything goes wrong and lose all we have, at least we have a house. Installation costed a bit more but it was assembled by just 3 people, it came in panels. They usually have "templates" and you configure according to your needs and budget.

how big can they get ?
-
wicked, i want a house like that!

Its a "designer" prefab home. You pay for the name more than anything else.

If it is so efficient to build a prefab house, how come they are so expensive?? I love them but I think they are sort of a rip off
