@bostonbrew1 ahaha, look how foolish you are! :) Admit it, she tried to kiss one on the beak, didn't she? How hard is it to keep your face AWAY from one of the two pointy parts of a chicken? They don't have hands, so they naturally check things out using their beaks. Especially pretty, shiny eyes.
Seriously, chickens in general, and Cochins especially, are little attention sponges and LOVE to cuddled. I love my yard dinosaurs. :)

@javakogan :) yes, they are RELATED to dinosaurs, but they are still birds. :)

@rodeogirl13245 They have recently done genetic tests, and chickens are indeed related to dinosaurs.

I know hens don't lay when they are moulting. If a rooster is moulting will he still mate the hens? someone message me me if you know.

@bostonbrew1 reallllly? you must be retarded! they are BIRDS! NOT DINOSAURS!!!! lol ;)
what do they eat?

@Haxnain1 : Everything from unsuspecting tourists to little kids, playing in the backyard. Now really, they eat regular chicken - food, but they do need extra - protein and extra - vitamins, at least until they fully mature.

These birds are very vicious! They will strike without warning. My wife had her eye put out by one because she would not feed the birds at a particular time. Very demanding birds, especially the rooster who is extremely nervous around little ones. Buyer beware! This woman is nuts! These are direct descendants of the dinosaur. They are very dangerous creatures. I would compare them to a snake, or bear trying to protect a cub. Cover your eyes or wear eye protection when handling!

:))))) Yes, they are beasts! Capable of lying around doing nothing all day, and what is worst of all, they like being cuddled, just like dogs and cats! Now really, how hungry must one keep his/ her birds, to have his/ her eyes put out after an attack??
I would compare them to Chupacabra, but more vicious :))))
Really liked your comment, very amusing ;)
