Werner vs. Malaise (CoH)

Werner, my Katana/Regen scrapper in City of Heroes, beating an archvillain without using inspirations, temporary powers, veteran powers, base empowerment buffs or click accolades.

Success! First try, and the first AV Werner beat that Sergei, my Dark Melee/Super Reflexes, couldn't. I was very worried about Malaise, since he tore Sergei apart (at least until I cheated and loaded up on purples, and it was still hard). The problem is that some of his attacks are non-positional, which means they cut through Sergei's defenses. Since my Regen has very high defenses, I thought I'd probably be in the same boat. I was, but I had just enough healing to keep up with his damage, and didn't need to cheat. It started looking close at the end, but my Dull Pain recharged just in time to keep me from going down when he had a sliver of health left. I'm very happy about this one.

The video is actually my second time beating him. Mother Mayhem had just finished schooling me in how best to survive a constant stream of medium sized hits. That made Malaise a walk in the park. No problems. Thanks, Mother Mayhem!
