  • Three people didn't get their change at Agnew's.

  • Mr Beau-jangles, reminds me of a joke that was on mock the week.

  • @JFredUK And all to the tune of the "Top Cat" theme, too? Swell!

  • "Get off your mark to... Landmark?' Quite

I used to love these cheap style adverts which consisted of a still and a voiceover. Usually with some stilted-sounding announcer reading from a cue card. Very much like they used to do at the cinema, when they'd have a still and local voiceover cobbled onto the end of a professionally made advertisement. Class.

  • Damn, a tv AND a sewing machine!

  • GTV, Grampian Television not Giant Television.

  • Blimey Whisky for £3.99.

  • This SO looks like something from Monty Python! I keep expecting the Giant Foot or the 16 Ton Weight to crush something.

  • It's David Strachan in-vision - another GTV announcer, Jimmy Spankie, voices the Currys ad.

This is a terrific find - normally, it's a struggle to find any GTV continuity, even up to the closure of Aberdeen's pres department in '98, which makes this clip stand out from the crowd.
