Pretty good selection, although I don't share your preference for the stupid dumb characters and the delinquents. It's true that in most movies they are the comedic relief, but they've never been my favorite characters.

I love your lists but your no 1 choices are disappointing, Explorers over Goonies? Fast Times over The Breakfast Club?? I mean the scripts to these number 2's alone are far superior than your number 1 choices. I never ever liked Fast Times. Thought it was mediocre at best. In my opinion Risky Business was THEE teen movie of the 80s.

you wouldn't add stand by me because of the R rating and profanity BUT have porky's..? there is more naked guys running around in that move then a lot of R rated ones.

This is TEEN movies, not kids movies. If you listen closely, I mention that I didn't add Stand by Me to my top 10 KIDS movie list because of the profanity and rating.
