    Probably you didn't read the first question in the chain if you did you would understand my statement. If you still don't ask Salman Khan himself, he will tell you.

    Russel Peters is a Canadian, he was born and raised in Canada and living in Canada with Canadian citizenship, it doesn't matter where your parents are from. If you talk about roots there the only americans in USA would be native americans.

    If he was not famous your comment would not exist here.

    his father is from Bangladesh and his mother is from India. So in what sense is he from Bangladesh or India? Since he was born and raised in USA I would say he is an American.
