@iamjames2222 I just cannot accept that as proof. These same people thought disease was caused by sin and demons, and many more crazy things. If Jesus was such a saint why did he never mention germs, viruses, and bacteria? Why did he never mention boiling water before you drink it. Or washing your hands after defecating? It could have saved billions of lives.
It just seems strange to me that you accept people like that above scientists of today. When all the comforts we enjoy are their works.
@iamjames2222 How can you say universes cannot come into existence themselves but your perfectly fine claiming (without evidence) that God can. We can show through physics how a universe can form through natural processes. But your only proof for god is a 2000 year old book written by a band of nomadic goat herders during the bronze age. Then edited, and reedited, translated, reedited, and rewritten over a 1500 year period. Not to mention the 20+ books that were not included in current bibles.
@brewerbrian420 Hey sorry it took me a while to get back. Basically, universes cannot create themselves, and unintelligent matter cannot expand into the brilliant functionality we see in the universe. I worship Lord Jesus Christ, and accept His forgiveness for my sins, and gift of eternal life.
Life is intelligent, yes. But is it designed? That's subjective. Scientifically, and technically speaking, you CANNOT say X is created by a designer until you first prove the existence of this designer. Creationists have yet to fulfill this criteria. They provide no credible proof for their creator, especially a specific creator that they claim, and not just some general concept.
@iamjames2222 But theist lack proof and evidence of an eternal god. And what can be asserted without evidence can be dismissed without it. There is nothing logical about believing in something you cannot show exists.
Atheist have no theories on the beginning. Atheism is a lack of belief in gods nothing more. It just so happens that many atheists accept science, but the two are not synonymous with each other.
I do not look for God for the same reason I do not look for Santa or Fairies.
@brewerbrian420 All theists believe in an eternal God. Atheists have many differing theories to the beginning, subject to reproof and correction. Thats not hypocritical, it's fact. It is logical that God has existed eternally since there could never have been nothing at any time, and thermodynamics proves the universe cannot be eternal. Intelligent design is all around you in the world you see. Could it be that you do not see God's work, for the same reason a thief cannot find a policeman?

@iamjames2222 Please give some examples of this "intelligent design". Also what religion do you follow, if you do not mind me asking?

@XGralgrathor That is just creating another sub-catagory for a beginning. Where do these clouds of interstellar dust and gas come from?
