  • grrrrrrr, it's missing the twangy ending I love so much. Thanks for sharing but I kind of feel blue-balled by it, so to speak.

  • Yeah, I got this from somebody in Melbourne. I wouldn't know if the twangy bit was included on this Countdown performance or not, because of the editing the sender did.

  • Anyone remember those big Grundies waterslides at the end of Caville Ave. opposite the beach? They were awesome and fast!! I was mega disappointed when they took those things down in the late 80's and replaced it with Mini Golf and then stupid Red Rooster.

  • @MissGreenie worse this about those cassette bin things, was the sun would melt your tapes in summer : - (

  • This song is no where near my favourite, still ok, but a little boring compared to alot of their others. I like the way the time coding has been covered up by the show number, looks better like that.

  • I've always thought they said "Next Time". Don't know where I got that from!!

  • I love Australian Crawl's music full stop, but this one would have to be one of my Aussie Crawl favourites, but like you guys, I, too, miss the twaggy bit towards the end. Shame, as this is an otherwise awesome Countdown rendition!!

  • crassico \o/

  • @barticus04 Know what you mean... we'd cruise around in my boyfriends LH Torana and we thought we were all so cool putting on an aussie crawl cassette!! Remember the big cassette tape containers you'd have that would sit on the back seat awaiting selection.

  • @nzoz1981 just glad someone has preserved it :-)

  • At least in the early days you could understand James' lyrics as time went on he could roll five words into one that made it intesting trying to listen to a new song

  • Shouldv'e seen em in their bathers - No Heroes........... This lyric just rocks......
