  • Could you take the hose of a shop-vac to that bottom chamber - After brushing it out, just do a 5 horsepower "inhale clean" on the lower housing? - Great Video BTW - Five Stars

  • Good idea - but I would guess that not the vacuum would not pull the caked on grounds off the sides of the grinding chamber - they are pretty gunky from the coffee oil.

  • it has flat burrs, so far as I have seen the conical ones have a pretty obvious cone burr in the middle

  • are you satisfired with rocky?

  • I like my Rocky very much - it seems to give a good consistent grind. They are not cheap but from looking at the way its made I expect it will last for decades. If I were to buy one again I would buy one without the doser - the doser seems to just get in the way of loading the portafilter.

  • You can not possibly be an engineer because that demonstration was just way to easy to understand!

  • Excellent video! This is the kind of stuff that really makes youtube helpfull!

  • Great video.

I didn't mark the burrs or replace the screws to their exact holes and it works perfectly. Points to its engineering. I did take a vacuum to it, that helped the job along nicely.

Heads up... I got into the habit of using the plastic spout to direct of 'shovel' the coffee as it fell into the portafilter or in larger quantities when I ground a few days worth. I didn't realize I was impeding the proper flow of the coffee. I SERIOUSLY fkd my grinder. This saved me. Grinder new again.

  • Thanks for the tips.I like how you marked down the exact position after removing the burr.

  • Great video! Thank you very much. I am going to replace my burr's today and plan to also use an air compressor to blow the debris out.
