the shofar is expensive.. but itr is an investement.

Got ours from The Shofar Man (put in google search). It's sealed inside so it doesn't smell like death :)

@ministerofdance Yes, yemenite ibex-horn shofars are expensive, however, synthetic shofars are now available, generally around $30 to $60, for a shofar bigger than most natural ones, with a perfect mouthpiece as well. The sound is the same. For religious purposes, it is not from the animal, so I don't know how that affects it, but the sound is excellent.
