  • Can you do this on a flatbed sewing machine without having to take out all the inner or outer leg stitches?

  • If the opening from the waist or hem to the hole is sufficiently large you could possibly do this. It will depend on the machine head and the jeans. If you decide to take out a seam to get to the hole, I would recommend undoing the seam that is not a flat-fell seam. On traditional jeans, this would mean taking out the outside seam. Hope this helps.

  • I could have saved so many jeans if I had a free arm! Machine that is!

  • @tylerfeetcore2 That's DISGUSTING

  • Ha, ha! Marci is poor but very sophesticated because she's patching her son's jeans with an expansive & versatile Quantom 9910 Singer like I used to do. Just kidding you rock Marci. You know, I pawned my beloved Quantom 9910 & patched up with a Barclay's loan to get the mighty American Union Special industrial heavy twine four needle chainsticher. I design bespoke designer jeans & handmade shoes in London.
