@ejrouge XD I know! It would've been nicer if he sang a little softer to fit the mood of the song. He once did the exact same thing with "Mille Cherubini in Coro". That one is supposed to be sung softly, but he sang it way too loud.
@prescoed You're right about it not being sung too often. It is definitely not sung as often as Brahms' "Wiegenlied" (the best-known and most-sung lullaby in the world).
I love this song, I have never heard it in a male voice. Thanks for uploading it. However, I don't understand why Carreras sings his part so forte, this is supossed to be a lullaby! Any baby would wake up and cry with such a loud voice, ha ha.
