@EmGeeDubz Please explain how Adam is philosophically illiterate or that this group is. So far we have tried to be nice (except for that previous comment.. it was snippy and the proctor on that has been reprimanded for being childish) and explain different aspects that have been brought up to the best of our ability. None of us claim to be PhD holders in philosophy nor do we claim to need a religion for moral authority but base our decisions yet again on empirical evidence.

“We Are Atheism (And So Can You!)”

This makes me think of the “It Gets Better” campaign. The difference here, though, is not that it *gets* better, but that it *is* better... it always has been. Just a question of opening one’s eyes and seeing it.

@imbiased We do things because we want to not because of a belief system that promises eternity in heaven of hell for our actions? I wouldn't want a theist being nice to me because their belief system requires them to. Nothing moral about that.

empirical ... first things first. Who let you push atheists about empirical evidence without even coming up with the tiniest shred of evidence for all the hallucinations you want atheists to accept without a question.

Now. As empirical as it gets in a Youtube comment, just look at the population in U.S. jails. 80% of the population inside and outside are christians. Outside there are 10% Atheists but only 0.2% inside.

Chirsitanity is useless for moral and Atheism works great!

@WeAreAtheism and i also apologize for my previous comments, for they were not short of childishness either. but i think that many atheists would get very much upset with a stupid creationist lampooning evolution by saying "nothing created everything and somehow slime magically turned into dinosaurs". they would be correct in getting mad at this creation idiot cuz he possesses no knowledge or familiarity with the relevant scholarship. such armchair evaluations r dumb & deserved to be laughed at

@WeAreAtheism well thank u very much for disowning the previous comment. I am not claiming one has to hold a doctorate in philosophy or any field to discuss and hold opinions on it, but it is required that one devote some amount of time to the relevant scholarship. I think Adam's caricature of God as a "toga wearing blah blah" seems very ignorant of how academic philosophers actually discuss and debate God, because the existence of God is not shrugged off so easily in academia.
