besides the space ship "rocket", as far as I know in military means rockets are usually unguided, whereas missiles are guided.

rockets and missile had a distinct or vary in it's capability but similar in propulsion system nonetheless, the term rockets are named in manned space fight, satellite payloads, whereas missiles are named for carrying warheads
