In the United States, 78% of blacks say that racism against blacks is widespread, while 51% of whites say the same.

Im pretty sure if this poll was given pre 1865 when slavery was legal the numbers would be about the same. Why because the people who did the bullying will never see a problem with it.

It's not WIDEspread, but the amount of racism is still problematic. On the other hand saying things like "he told me my shoe was untied was racist" is kind of silly... (And I had a friend who said "they don't like me because I'm Chinese" and it took all my willpower not to say "no, they don't like you because you're a JERK")
