We as a church of God assembled together for the purpose of fellowship, to bear one another burden without the fear of the burden of being exploited or embarrassed by the church family. What is a church to you? As a young child I looked to the church as a place of refuge, a fellowship of true saints, people whom I can trust and lean when a need a word of encouragement or good advice of wisdom.
The church is a place where I can find peace through the teaching a preaching of Jesus Christ. It is ironic that so many people are looking for a church to be a part of to find that fit. Just like putting on a good pair of shoe. I just want to know I'm welcome, that someone cares about me. I'm not alone in this lonely and dismal world. How many feel that way in your youth or right now that you have a purpose because you are serving the Lord. Some of us look forward to coming home to the great living room, taking off shoe or tapping their feet listening to a wonderful song or just clapping their hands.

Is your church fellowship based upon your blood line, race or is it based upon status, education or wealth. Have you been to a church where the usher great you with smile as if you're the most important executive in the building or as if you where an outcast? , Have you ever walked in a church where the pastor knows you by name, greeting you and loving you no matter if you're a business owner or a homeless just wanted to stop by and here God's word? Have you ever walked in and you're just another number and you have to go through a system of ministers and body guard called armor bearers just to see the pastor if any. How many of you ever visited a church where the requirement to join is presenting a copy of your W-2 form or taking notice of the ATM machine. Some churches required paid admission if the pastor is a well famous televangelist or singer.
