Palestinian Authority TV: Dream of refugees to be achieved "through blood"

Over four generations, Palestinian refugees have received no assistance or encouragement by their leadership to make new lives for themselves. On the contrary, the Palestinian leadership makes every effort to perpetuate their refugee status and identity, both outwardly and amongst the children and grandchildren of the refugees themselves. For example, this documentary (broadcast regularly on official PATV between 2004-2007) carries the message that even fourth-generation Palestinian refugees expect one day to return, and that this dream will be achieved "through blood".

Transcript:
"On this planet is a land called Palestine. But the forces of oppression are still dividing the world. Many of the Palestinian families still keep the keys to their homes.
"This is the key to our home in Jaffa," "This is the key to our home in Haifa," "This is the key to our home in Acre."
Ask any boy, "Which city are you from?" He will answer you, "Acre, Haifa, from this village, from that city."
If you expel us, or imprison us with borders, one day we will surely return. If you imprison us with borders, one day we will surely return. We shall never forget. One day we will surely return.
"The youth do not know Haifa, Jaffa, Acre, the Galilee, the [Galilee] Triangle, and the Negev. They believe that the Palestinian is born with the right of return, together with mother's milk. Once I read a book, written by an Israeli; he wrote: "The first generation [of refugees] is dying, the second is dying, the third is weakening, the fourth is forgetting." I want to tell him, I am a fourth generation, and I have not forgotten. I have a dream to reach Deir Yassin [West Jerusalem]. Though it is my dream, I can achieve it with my blood."

Most of the 1st generation of the Palestinian refugees abandoned their homes with those famous keys following the orders of their leaders. the leaders of the Arab Higher Committee.

In Haifa the mayor of the city clearly told his Arab residents to stay .. he promised they won't be harmed. The Arab chief commanders promised the Palestinians they will get back to their homes in 3 days and get back in addition to their homes also the homes of the Jews.
