Flying low and close in for the camera on a very windy day with an Adrian Page 1/5th scale Gee Bee R2. During a low slow knife edge, a wind gust caused it to do a 5/8 snap without enough altitude to recover and pull out. I think another 10 feet or so and I could have made it. It is a great flying plane and the crash was the result of flying too low and slow on a very windy day. The plane is being rebuilt and will fly again. Powered by an OS .91fs turning an APC 14x6 prop. Takeoff weight is around 7.75 lbs.
