tillis only made one mistake here , cost him the fight , was winning round 4 by a mile till the off balance knockdown cost him the round , buster must have watched this blueprint fight of ''how to beat iron mike tyson''.

@celticbanner18 Tillis had developed a medical condition with allergies towards dairy products and orange juice among other things - this wasn't discovered until the preperation for the Tyson fight. His whole diet was worked out in a new way - this is why his match weight was lower when he came into the fight and why he didn't fade like he had done in several previous fights. Also the reason most regard him as the winner of this bout - he lay out the blueprint for beating Tyson.

Dear bloodgutsnglory, the reason I said the fight would have been a draw without Tyson scoring that meaningless knockdown is because the 4th round would have gone to Tillis otherwise. Those two six rounds to four votes for Tyson would have become two scores of five rounds each and the fight would have been a draw!

why did eating raw eggs have a negative effect on Tillis' endurance?  Where do you get your information from. I'm not saying you're wrong, I am just curious.

other guys were determined until they realized they couldnt make him dance to their music.Tillis rounds he won were extremely close and all could have gone to tyson.Tillis didnt have any big rounds and in a rematch tyson would stop tillis.Tucker fought back and barely won 3 rounds.Douglas got a hold of a flat bad tyson that night and holyfield fought a shell of what tyson was.focused form 86-88 that when he should have been tested

@nemanjaarsic1 I totally agree with what your saying, People get lost in Mike's street life ( not to good ) and punish him for it all the time.

He was a outstanding fighter that would give ANY heavy boxer a run for there money.

1st, the knock down was legit. He did not step on Tillis' foot. Watch in freeze frame. Tillis jumps in with a dumb left hook, goes off ballance and Tyson makes him pay. You can see when Tyson lands his hook Tillis' feet are wide apart, Tyson's feet are closer and no where near Tillis' feet. And how do you think it would have been a draw? When they read the cards they didn't read scores. The announcer said 6 rounds to 4 twice and one judge had it 8 rounds to 2. No where NEAR a draw... lol...

@celticbanner18 lol. he gave Tyson trouble, but didn't come close to beating Tyson. It does show however that Ali would have beaten him.
