Another rush-job. This is also simplistic but I suppose the song calls for it

Pairing: [one-sided] Royalshipping (Marufuji Ryo/Tenjoin Asuka a.k.a. Zane Truesdale/Alexis Rhodes) hints of Valentineshipping and Fianceshipping
Plot: Ryo really likes Asuka but Jun's massive crush on her, Asuka's feelings for Judai and Ryo's own heart condition prevent him from being with her until it's too late.
Subplot: Asuka's feelings for Judai become more and more apparent to Ryo and the Osiris so Judai does her a small favor and Ryo rues the moment it comes
Viewpoint: Ryo's

Warnings: Angst...and some morbidness.
Story:
During Asuka's first year at DA and Ryo's last, he realizes he has feelings for her, though he was supposed to be a close friend. Thus the only act he takes upon his feelings is punching Manjoume for his attempts at her. She is unaware of why Ryo hit Manjoume, and assumes it was because Ryo found Manjoume annoying (Zane in the dub said "Anybody up for just tackling him?" ...that should say enough)
After Ryo's electrodes scare after his graduation, he is more aggressive on how he deals with his actions with his feelings. He has a short heart attack, landing him in the hospital. But he decides to sneak off while Asuka is out when he thinks Asuka broke her promise of them being together (which she never did promise) so causes Judai to fall off a building when he sees how much Asuka likes the brunette.
He injures himself in the process and winds up in a wheelchair for a while. Remembering how he died the previous year, he wonders what he has turned into, hurting others for Asuka in such a way. He has another minor heart attack while trying to walk but that leads to a stronger heart attack, getting him back into the hospital. Though he is content that Asuka is at his bedside, she gets a call from an injured Judai (who survived the fall and who Ryo completely forgot about) so she forgets about Ryo and rushes to Judai's aid. Ryo watches her go and his heart weakens until he dies, coughing Asuka's name, unaware of what happened with Judai and Asuka.
And the last scene can be interpreted as Ryo smilling that Asuka is happy. Depends on your view... That was really long... whoever reads it gets a virtual cookie xD

Not sure if it all fits, but that's what I got. Kinda too angsty for me, really... but I supposed it fit? But if you guys have any other ideas, feel free to use them or tell me; I'd love to hear them :D

Colors:

Everyone else has their respective colors (Blue=Asuka, Sea blue=Ryo, Navy blue=Jun, Red=Judai)

My fav part: the last "I still try to find my place in the diary of Jane" to the end.

The beginning effects were basically, you need 2 layers with the same clips that'll run at the same time (copy/paste or duplicate layer). Make the top layer clips 38%-75% opacity (and a different color with Gradient Map if you want), cut it in a few places and then mess with the pan/cropping (:

Wow, y'know I never really thought about what'd I do with Jun after he got punched, but that's a good idea! You're really helping my mind fill in so many gaps and make this feel like a kinda full-blown story (to me). This could be like the Ryo side of this video, I could make a Judai side and a Jun side. Wow... maybe even an Asuka side 0.o
