@xbobxnob almost all of fallen sounded the same. TOD has way more beautiful songs such as "like you" and "all that im liveing for". it was so great, it won amy lee a very rare song writeing award, that is only given to 1 person a year. it made evanesence a way more respectable artists, than all the other wanabee nu-metal limp bisket bullcrap, im so glad they escaped from that catigory. TOD saved their musical dignity. meanwhile, ben moody started writeing songs for celine dion/avril lavine...XP

@xbobxnob "Fallen" was pure COMMERCIAL! if you feel like listening to commercial music i'd say try pop =) TOD is the Best!

The Open Door wasn't more mature. It was Amy without Ben. It also was nowhere near as good as Fallen. Whenever someone puts out an album that can't match their previous success they describe it as "more mature". A lot of the 5 million TOD sales were die hard fans who bought it because it was Evanescence. Not because it was great. She'll never again see the success of Fallen. Sadly the band wasn't all her as much as she liked to think so. Too bad, I really liked them.

@dahlia533 yes, TOD was much more mature than fallen! In fallen all we hear is a whining little girl who cries about her stupid abusive boyfriend. Dx and its so mainstream...TOD has cool beats, and what not. I love TOD waaaay more than fallen. and I really hope this one is better!!

oh my gosh i haven't been this excited for an album since the open door. Evanescence is my absolute favorite band; i can't wait to hear the new album. the open door was infinitely better than fallen, I hope this new album is even better than that! soooo excited :D
