Pit Bull Owner Defends Dog Attack

Check out this Pit Bull owner testifying before a Special Master in Margate Florida. His Pit Bull got loose and attacked a neighbor walking the dog. This video supports evidence published by the American Academy of Forensic Sciences (AAFS) that vicious Pit Bulls may indeed be victims of 'dangerous dog owners' who are "higher in sensation seeking and primary psychopathy," states an AAFS report.

"Study results suggest that vicious dog ownership may be a simple marker of broader social deviance," say experts.

Any dog attack is a direct failure of responsibility of the owner. Dogs cannot be at fault since their awareness of their actions is not the same as ours and not as in depth as ours.

It's funny how ignorant most comments are. How dumb can you be blaming the dog? Pit bulls can be one of the most loving dogs you can have. The reason they are pointed at as vicious dogs is because they are very strong and used for gambling. But no one looks at the German shepherd. German shepherds are known to be more vicious yet aren't hated on because they are used for police dogs. This is a message out to you ignorant ones, don't talk out of your ass. pit bulls are good dogs.

@AbitOnus This is too show how its irresponsible owners to blame not the dogs. The dog should have been socialized better and should have been under the owners control. Animal aggression isnt equal to human aggression the two do not coinside whats so ever. Saying one breed is more aggressive than another is just pure ignorance. Terriers will be terriers, irresponsible owners will continue to tarnish the breeds reputation.

@AbitOnus Okay, I guess I didn't understand what you were saying then. I get it now. If you would read through some of the stuff dogsbite puts out, then you would see what I'm talking about. For example, in one of the reference sections on the website regarding dog attacks, dogsbite changed the name of an article to make it conform to their beliefs and still accredited it to the author. Also, the central arguments on dogsbite revolve around the Clifton Report, which is complete garbage.
