Did you just write 'flapping your lip?' Anyways....no problem. Just look at any mentalist like Banachek or Bob Steiner. See the books Flim Flam by James Randi. Above and beyond 'references,' even some believers admit that a mentalist like Banacheck is far more accurate with his 'hits' and 'misses' than John Edward, but, as they would say, 'just because there is no observable difference between edward and an "actual" fraud, doesn't mean that edward is a fraud.'

Ad hominem arguments show that you have a weak position: Yes I wrote "flapping your lip," is that what you came to discuss?

I said "documentation to back up your claims," and that doesn't mean, "name some books about cold reading". You said "it has been observed that any unedited footage of John Edward demonstrates" and I've yet to see your back up proof of that. Your "proof" is an "association falacy". Sharpen up your debating skills or provide back up of your statement.

I wasn't making an argument by asking about your phrasing. In fact, I don't recall making stating any premises, let alone, a conclusoin when referencing the phrase "Flapping your lip." And I will ask you not to say 'ad hominem'; for your sake, not mine. It makes you sound psuedointellectual.

When you said "documentation" I assumed that books or 'documents' (as some people refer to them) would be sufficient. Referencing literature doesn't qualify under the Association Falacy.

@previewreview Isn't James Randi the magician? So he makes a living making people believe in his tricks and he is trying to say that he is the one that is telling the truth and John Edwards is a fake? I have seen a lot of Randi's claims and I am sorry but I do not believe that he has proven that John Edward is a fraud. He has proven that he is a very good magician. I will stick with my own personal experience and what I have seen for my self. John Edward is the real deal not a magician!

@LadyLillianContessa If anything now, his appearances in our lives are "scarier" to me, but only b/c he does it so unexpectedly. Every now and again as I gather our son for bed and turn off the lights in the living room, my son's toys will go off by themselves--usually right when we're walking to the bedroom.

@LadyLillianContessa Was the question directed to me? I barely saw it just now, if it was. No, I wasn't nervous. If anything, it was wonderful--when he was alive he used to argue w/me about our son not looking like him and insinuating that he wasn't his (he is--b/c he communicated these doubts to his own family I did a DNA test to prove it after he passed), but in this dream he validated to me that he knew our son was his.
