I learned this tune from the playing of Mike Rafferty a traditional Irish flute great. Mike is known for his lovely flowing style that is rooted in the old music of East Galway. Mike learned most of his music from his father Tom Rafferty. The tune Dinny Delaney's was named after the piper Dinny Delaney who was blind and lived in Ballinasloe, East Co. Galway.
