Songs from the film "So ein Mädel vergisst man nicht" starring Willi Forst, Dolly Haas and Oskar Sima. As a German/Austrian co-production the film premiered 2 weeks before the nazi party came to government in Germany. It was the direction debut of the former actor Fritz Kortner whose name was cut out of the introduction screen after the nazis overtook the power.
Some years later the film was banned from screen at all due to the emigration of Dolly Haas.
The songs "Man hat's nicht leicht", "Jede Nacht brennt mein Herz nur für dich" and "So ein Mädel vergisst man nicht" have been composed by Ralph Erwin & Robert Gilbert for the fictional opera "Nächte in Andalusien" within this film.

  • Schön gemacht!

  • Lovely clips! Dolly Haas is full of energy, a shame she was not such a star in the USA, perhaps Hitchcock recognized her talent.

  • Kaum ein Jahr später mußten so großartige Künstler wie Dolly Haas Nazideutschland verlassen.Andere gingen nicht oder konnten nicht gehen und ihr Leben endete tragisch............
