1-99 Runecrafting Guide

Okay so this video was made back in 2009, so please respect that and rage about how this stuff has changed. A lot in this video still works, and will help you with the basics of Runecrafting. I am now 27M+ Runecrafting Experience in the game and once I finish getting all 99's (been so lazy but hopefully sometime in 2012) I will surely come back and make some updated Runecrafting guides as this is my favourite skill and I love to help others.

Please feel free to add in the comments methods that have been added since the update, as this can help other players. Also if you are in need of help that isn't in this video just ask. I or one of the other watchers will surely answer. :)

The Eyes Of Glouphrie: 6,000 XP
Mage of Zamorak Miniquest: 1,000 XP
Lunar Diplomacy: 5,000 XP
Devious Minds: 5,000 XP
Slug Menace: 3,500 XP
What Lies Below: 8,000 XP

Additional Notes:
- Please Note: Air altar was moved, it is now located south east of barbarian village
- I do have 99 Runecrafting, and achieved it on the 12th of march.
- This guide is based on my personal beliefs, they're are a number of ways to achieve 99 Runecrafting.
- Doing ZMI lvl 1-91 then Graahk 91-99 is the most efficient way to get 99 runecrafting.
However it will require quite a bit of money to start off with, and I do not think it is necessary to start ZMI from level 1.
- When using the ZMI, having a full bank will help speed up banking. As you can see in the video when I click bank all, only the runes get banked and not the pouches. This is because my bank is full.
- A regen bracelet will regenerate your hitpoints twice as fast, and helps you survive in Ourania without using food.
- Monk robes, as well as protect from ranged and rapid heal prayers are very useful in ZMI.
- Only use your 3 best pouches when runecrafting unless using ZMI. This will allow for less time banking and more time runecrafting. It makes quite a noticeable difference in experience rate.
- Use normal energy pots over super, this will allow you to be able to bring and drink a whole potion in one trip to an altar. Which means you can drop it, withdraw and essence from pouch and not lose a single essence for the trip. Not to mention normal energy potions are a lot cheaper. Some people also use super energy (2) however, this is not worth the hassle in my mind.
