Ben Kaufman demystifies Quirkys unique influence engine and explains how users can cash in on product influence by participating on the site.

Quirky is a social product development company. Your product ideas come in, our community and design team work on them, we sell the product worldwide, and then we share the revenue with the inventor and all influencers. By enabling a fluid conversation between our global community of influencers and Quirky's expert product design team, we are able to accomplish what was once unthinkable: bringing one brand new product concept from sketch to store each week.

  • @LoveBringsTruth I asked myself the same question and no, they don't respect patents.

  • If my math is right they earn 924.700 dollars while not risking much when there are 35.000 Products sold. Almost a million dollars when you get a fraction of it whereas the idea itself is more important than anything. Guys, support it or don't but be aware of that.

  • @rguerrettaz hi

  • Or, how do you make a video like this? Anyone? Thanks!

  • who makes these videos?

  • Next: I would like to say...what if we already have a patent.

  • My question: refers directly to the video here. I have let others view it as well and all of them agree it is not really specific as to If you are referring to "you" or "us" when you use "yourself" as the example when banking 55,000.00. So when we do the math...forgive us if we have the numbers off...but that means....someone banks 1.3 mill. plus. after the "other" someone gets the 55,000.00. So who is who and who gets what. Please be more specific. ok....does this make sense?

  • @LoveBringsTruth good questions...were there any answers yet?

  • Lets repeat this.

"what happens if Quirky sells the idea to a third party as outlined in the TOU? Does that leave the inventor FUBAR? Also, does Quirky maintain ANY responsibility for the product as far as patents, etc go or is that left to the inventor to fend for him/herself? Thanks. P."
