The Internationale (L'Internationale in French) is a famous socialist, communist, social-democratic and anarchist anthem and one of the most widely recognized songs in the world.

The Internationale became the anthem of international socialism.
Its original French refrain is C'est la lutte finale/ Groupons-nous et demain/ L'Internationale/ Sera le genre humain. (Freely translated: "This is the final struggle/ Let us group together and tomorrow/ The Internationale/ Will be the human race.")

The Internationale has been translated into many of the world's languages. It is sung traditionally with the hand raised in a clenched fist salute. The Internationale is sung not only by communists but also (in many countries) by socialists or social democrats, as well as anarchists.

If you read my comment below, you will see that it has nothing to do with Communism and everything to do with the factual errors in the previous poster's argument, specifically as it related to his incorrect usage of certain economic terms (i.e. capitalism). I'm not sure why you're arguing with me.

@DoubleRefraction Actually, yes. Communism proved itself wrongfully designed many times throughout history. First in Europe (obviously) and later in Cuba (who has half its people turn to immigrants around the world), North Korea (who needs constant donations from their "depraved capitalists neighbors" to feed its own people, and turned their communism into a dynasty) and finally China (who sent it straight to hell in favor of the wildest capitalism ever seen).And I do know what I'm talking about

@Moebiuscm America's capitilism? it's doing wonderful. America is currently the LARGEST exporter and importer in the entire world. Although it's not perfect, we don't have riots in the streets like in Greece or Britain. I am not flaming, I am trying to tell people that hating America because "it's cool" is stupid. Communism failed because from an economic standpoint it will put its citizens at a disadvantage.
