  • People should listen to Rahman's TAMIL compositions..they'll fall flat on their faces if they do..ever heard the hit songs from the movie "Boys" in Tamil? You'll be amazed!!

Somehow I just feel coz of the language barrier people are not quite exposed to Rahman's true talents-the ones that emerge when he composes music for the Tamil crowd. It's time we Hindi people started listening to Rahman's Tamil hits too or maybe they should reproduce those songs in Hindi so the world would recognize them too

  • he's so uncomfortable and real in front of the camera.. not like the other overly pompous celbrities..

  • i am seein 2012 still he gives goosebumps with Roja ! ARR is a gift to Cinema :)

  • I use to love Surabhi!!

  • He should have won an oscar for Roja

  • @mridulap2003 he is not uncomfortable but he is real

  • @nostalgic0girl I bet this comment is written by tamil since there are many 'TAMIL' words in the comment. Jokes apart, a true latent(or shall we say divinity) just manifests itself and crosses boundaries, languages and what not, and DOES NOT crave recognition. So don't worry and take the hassle of asking people to recognize it, unless ofcourse your point is to be boastful about tamilians or tamil movies. If someone didn't recognize such divine talent, its their sheer ill fate.

  • tamil-hindi-malyalam-telengu- we all are indian.......... listen to his tamil songs first then you will really feel the music!!!

  • rehman is a legend...

  • Any idea about the 'Abdul' Rahman they are taking about? ;)

Good to hear H. Sridhar's (Rahman's chief sound-engineer for years) comments on "The Rahman Sound". Now we know who's behind the 'spitting into the flute' sounds ;)

    thanks for sharing!
