Manju Gurung founded Pourakhi, a Nepali NGO, in 2003 after her own experiences as an undocumented worker in Japan. She speaks with UN Women about the threats Nepal's women migrant workers continue to face despite the passage of legal protections. In particular, she notes the dangers -- including of sexual exploitation -- posed to women migrant workers in the Gulf states.
