a custodian at my elementary school looked just like the bridgekeeper - he was the nicest man - but after this, i was scared of him for 2 years - haha funny how 2 min of goofy SS can weird you out as a kid

Actually, you can use the the plural sense of Cookies as he didn't use a reference to singular before it such as "one" cookies which would be incorrect. He is using the term "Cookies" to describe all Cookies in general. Just as if he was holding one duck and was describing it's feathers "Ducks have multi-colored feathers" is proper - just as "This duck has multi-colored feathers" is also proper. "Duck has multi-colored feathers" is not proper. See?
