My grandparents filmed this on a cruise ship in China. I would love to know how it works!!

EDIT: I looked it up. This is the art of Bian Lian. Those masks are thin layers of silk he can whip off.

Maybe he has the masks built into his headress, all connected side by side. They could slide into position when he flicks his head. I don't know how he really does it, but that's a possibility.

I got my explanation from Wikipedia. The head piece doesn't really look big enough for that, and he takes it off at the end.

You can clearly see one of his hands going behind his back to activate the mask-changing mechanism every time he changes his mask.

has anyone ever tried giving a tape of the changing masks to a lab, then having them slow it down like A LOT then they can c where the mask goes..... wait would that even work............ ? (confused)
