Escuseeeeees me. Would you people stop trying to figure out the mystery of it? face changing is no little magic trick. If you're just taking advantage of modern technology to keep pestering this art sooner or later you're going to ruin it. >:(

has anyone ever tried giving a tape of the changing masks to a lab, then having them slow it down like A LOT then they can c where the mask goes..... wait would that even work............ ? (confused)
Maybe he has the masks built into his headress, all connected side by side. They could slide into position when he flicks his head. I don't know how he really does it, but that's a possibility.

I got my explanation from Wikipedia. The head piece doesn't really look big enough for that, and he takes it off at the end.

The Chinese (and Asian races in general) are much more reserved and quiet with their praise. They were siiting politely and payin attention in their cultural style
