  • I like her singingmore than Lady Gaga. Don't you?

  • **also Heavy Side Lair, as in "CATS". The spelling Heaviside Layer is the scientific term.

  • @prittymiddful. Yes you are.......let's be buddies

  • f-fuck... i-im not crying...

  • @sandysmom2010 They shun her because when she was young & beautiful, she left the tribe for the glamour & excitement of the world. Now she is back, but old, broken and sad; and they resent her for believed past disloyalty. But in the end she is forgiven & becomes the chosen to be "reborn" that year. All ends in happiness as she descends to the "Heaviside Layer" **, as seen here in the touching finale. ** term can be checked out on Wikipedia

  • do they hate her or something and why?

  • @C6H12O6ish & matthewillian ... except that in 1981 Victoria was played by Finola Hughes -- but by Phyllida Crowley Smith in the 1998 direct to video musical FILM. Elaine Paige, in her book, "Memories", doesn't list Sir John Mills in 1981, but he is in the 1998 film, according to Wikipedia, along with Elaine in her orig. role of Grizabella (just to make things more confusing, it seems).

  • holy shit

  • @C6H12O6ish That's correct. And Elaine Paige, singing here, was the original "Grizabella" in the first production of "CATS" in London, 1981. This is the song that brought the house down.

  • I've just cried nonstop... TT. TT....<3 <3
