My Uncle George O'Connell shared this film with me. He took his wife, Francys, on honeymoon to Quebec and Montreal. Ste. Anne DeBeaupre, House of Seagram, and a sign in French are all indicative of the location. Part of the film is in color; part is black and white. I know the furs are politically incorrect, but at that time, my aunt was wearing her fur to keep warm. My uncle was in the Navy, and they could not honeymoon after the wedding on August 29, 1938, since he was deployed in the Atlantic on the USS Decatur in the Navy. So they took their honeymoon at Christmas. Aunt Francys can also be seen for the first time on skis!
