The DP-01 was a great road racing car and Will Power said that if that car had the same Honda motor found in CART in the late 90's early 2000's - that would be a beast. Then again that was for road courses. I think the 2012 car well be better then many would believe and the rumors are that an increase in horsepower and less downforce on ovals is coming which should make many drivers and fans happy.

@Pabig93 Yeah that's keeping up with the Indycar tradition. *rolls eyes*
What we need is a balance and it's not like Randy Bernard isn't trying to find ovals its just that the ovals don't want him but at the same time the IICS needs to make money as well. The Indycar Series is about diversity and challenges and having an all oval schedule doesn't do that nor does a schedule with mostly road and street courses.

From 2003 on, ChampCar sucked because they didn't have enough ovals... And now IndyCar is heading the same way. Wish they would have stayed all-oval plus 2 or 3 road courses.

It's too bad that the chassis sucked (hard) and started the curse of new car=death of a series.
