Rep. Greg Walden (R-Ore.) talks with Greta Van Susteren about the discharge petition to force a vote on H. Res. 554, which would give the press, public, and members of Congress 72 hours to read and understand legislation before it's voted on. • WOW! No wonder we have such a mess!

Who writes this stuff? Who proofs it to make sure it doesn't conflict within itself?

  • probably olympia snow...dunno if i spelled that right but that would be my guess

  • Regardless of your affiliation...this is a ridiculous!! You would not sign a rental contract for an apartment in this amount of time, but our reps are supposed to change the country in less than a day?!! UNBELIVEABLE!!

  • this is an abomination that congress, the people that make the laws in this country, just on a whim vote for or against bills that they do not even know what is in it....YOU GO GREG!

  • It is too bad that there weren't more politicians like Representative Greg Walden.

  • who was the one idiot that voted no!?!
