Car details: Both 1991 200 20v. Other car has a gt30r with k26 hotside, 3" exhaust, stock 3b cams, VEMS, etc. Camera car has a Holset H1C, big intercooler and piping, 3" exhaust, 7a cams, log manifold, VEMS, etc. Both cars are stock bottom end and head and are on roughly 20-22 psi.
1st race: Clutch slipped in camera car while shifting into third.
2nd race: Camera car gets the jump, but the 30r spools so fast and has more torque down low on shifts.
3rd race: Short pull, but you can see how the cars are even and the camera car (H1C) even starts pulling up top a little.
Overall, really well-matched cars. 30r is better on the bottom end (also has low end torquey cams), but the H1C car seems to do a bit better up top for various reasons. Bigger hot side on the turbo, better intercooler, and more top end, peak power cams.
