Sonic Boom is an awesome, but sadly short hack created by numerous well known programmers. I had a week end free, so I decided to tas this game. The good news is, that it has many features which are great for tases like dashes in 3 possible directions, permanent speed shoes and quick spin dash. The bad news is that exactly these features make it easy to glitch out the game, making it possibly not as enjoyable to watch as one might expect.
There would be still more room for improvement (especially the last act), but time is short and the hack might still be in progress.

God damn. Didn't realize someone had beaten my TAS... Nice job.

@DDRKhat Thanks, but tasing this game is not so much about skillful precision, but rather how lucky you are with finding glitches and I was a little more lucky ^^. I like your tas, as it shows more level interaction.

@emu2000 By chance. How did you find thexe glitches and such? Do you have any particular method to trying to find possible glitches and such? I don't seem to be great at finding them.

@DDRKhat Not that I know of, sorry. But if you find a method, tell me please ^^ Sometimes I see glichtes in tases where it seems to be impossible that the player just stumbled across them, like I do :)

The hack is most likely to still be in progress. This hack was in SonicRetro's hacking contest.

@FergusonGames: I also hope this game is still being worked on, but rather because its an awesome game not because it won a contest. While I definitely support the idea of awarding a good hack and making people aware of it, it feels like sometimes winning the award labels the game as having reached a goal, which eats up part of the motivation to further work on it. There haven't been new posts recently in the forum, which worries me.
