  • A formidable resource, which is why it's always under attack.

  • True. I think they know they've got something like the "ring" ala Lord of the Rings. Now how to best utilize, optimize, monetize, etc....

  • Yes, you are! lol When I first got on, I had no idea how people were responding so quickly! If we're talking just desktop apps, my pick is TweetDeck. I've tried others including Seesmic, Twirl, Destroy Twitter, etc., but still go back. Feel free to download & let me know what you think. (What's your Twitter handle BTW?)

Bassmarko: I usually sign into Twitter via IE. What clients do you recommend? Could be I'm missing a whole new world of communication I didnt think possible.

  • I usually just sign into Twitter via IE. What clients do you recommend? Could be I'm missing a whole new world of communication I didnt think possible.

  • i will make a deal with you, i will follow you on twitter as I am subscribed here, i like the content obviously. I am sure you have chats, but I will try to be open minded but you give me recommendations on tools you use in conjunction with twitter to make chatting easier or tracking easier.

  • I could go on and on, especially about creativity because I studied it, and am studying programming, but I won't. :) Happy Aloha Friday & weekend to ya! :)

  • :) Thank *you*! I'd say I'd follow on Twitter you with hopes that you'd follow back, but I'd be one of the annoying types for you. ;) Much aloha MrBit10! :)

mrbit10: Thanks by the way for a great conversation ;)

  • In this virtual world, if we kept all conversations private that went beyond a cycle or two, it's not as much of a friendly place, nor a reflection of real life IMO. The Internet has made this world smaller. IRL, we see how people interact. So we should not see this virtually? Why not? (Obviously, there are many conversations that would be more suitable privately.)

  • IMO: Seeing people's convs makes them more human in this virtual world, and it also allows us to see what kind of personality they have...

mrbit10: those that I do follow on Twitter more than not announce things to me that I may be interested in. Again I am framing conversation as a chat in definition, so if conversation is simply a statement and a response that is fine with me in one or two cycles, but a chat, say that i have on IM or IRC of some kind is a far better tool than twitter IMO.

  • Thanks by the way for a great conversation ;)
