Six nights a week, The Night Ministry's specially outfitted 38-foot Health Outreach Bus makes regularly scheduled stops to underserved Chicago neighborhoods. It does this year-round, regardless of weather. Nurse Practitioners, Outreach Professionals and trained volunteers provide free health care and education, health and hygiene supplies, rapid HIV testing and prevention counseling, referrals to social services and a listening ear to adults and youth.
Thanks to Northwestern University journalism student Rachel Hoffman for creating the video!
