I've seen Albert a few times and he is not just a monster talent but one of nature's gentlemen. To paraphrase Chet Atkins and Les Paul - Albert can do Clapton, but Clapton cannot do Albert!!

Screw Clapton, Lee IS God!!

The Old Sugar Pie DeSanto tune.

cool! the room acoustics make the sound of the Telecaster very reminiscent of the sound of Jimi Page's tele on Zep II. Just a weird irrelevant observation. great playing all-around by all. tons of fun to watch!

Did you know that Albert Lee and Ritchie Blackmore are old friends from way back...someone once said to Jeff Beck that Clapton said Beck was the best guitarist in England and Beck replied: "what? haven't you ever heard of Albert Lee?"

The Faulty alternators are Mike McMillan on bass, Steve Young on drums and Tom Scodras on guitar This jam was in Tom's basement studio/jam room in Roberts Creek, just outside of Gibsons B.C. Albert sat in and jammed for about an hour or so. We recorded the session on a Roland workstation and shot the video with a Sony mini cam on a tripod.
A very cool clip! Where is this?
Long live Albert Lee, long may he rock!
