I got the Vi peel 6 months ago. Ever since then, my skin has never been the same. I used to have good skin. I would get complimented all the time. Now, my skin is aged. It is dry, red, flaky, scaly, irritated, inflamed, and burnt looking ALL THE TIME. Nothing has helped me so far. I went to the dermatologist today and he gave me an ointment called Desowen. It is a topical corticosteroid that he said would help. He said if it did not help, for me to come back and we could try something else. This peel ruined my face. I am depressed about it. I can't wear makeup because it collects in all the flakes and I look like the mummy, no joke. I hope this issue will subside with the new topical cream. If not, I will keep trying to reverse the damage this CRAP has done to my once beautiful skin.

  • Now I understand your skin problems better, so sorry.

  • @rtakitful Thanks.

  • wow that sounds like a lot of trouble for you. You wanted nice skin, and know you have to deal with all these issues. Dr. M is a JERK! he took your money and doesn't even bother to check up on you?.... he is an idiot!

  • @nghtrdr21 It's partly my fault too for doing the peel when it was not that necessary and for choosing him as my doctor. I wish I would have went to the doc who did my boobs, here in south Florida. No calls, no e-mails nothing from him or his rude staff. They replied to my e-mail when I said I though I was looking good, but when I e-mail to say I am having problems they do no respond. Unbelievable.

  • oh man! that sucks, you should talk to a dermatologist about this.

  • @nghtrdr21 I still think it's a chemical burn from the Vi peel. I can't get in touch with anyone at Dr. Motykie's office. it seems as though whenever I have a complaint they ignore me. So rude.

  • You look and sound like Sandra Bullock.

  • Same thing happened to me, I found out what it was......I just messaged you my experience.

  • @LisaJ4Liberty luckky!!! some people dont have it that easy tho!!

  • haha, just got the peel a few weeks ago now I'm getting the red irritated burning red spots.....woohoo...hope it goes away :)) it feels like eczema on the face.....

  • I'm in my fifties and have great skin -- it's always been perfect and clear. This is what I do to it: basically nothing. I just eat well, and I don't put junk on my face -- no sunscreen, instead I wear a sunhat.

  • Here's what I would do. Get some bee propolis at the health food store. Wash your face with a mild cleanser like Noxema, rinse, dry. Put the bee propolis on your face like a mask. and leave it there for at least an hour. Then rinse most of it off but not all of it. Apply some Noxema to the remaining propolis and rub it in gently. That should disappear into your skin enough for you to go out. Wear a sun hat, don't use sunscreen.

    to be continued...

  • I think your skin looks really beautiful!! But maybe the camara does not pick up the redness. Its very rude for the doctor not to help you in any way,and i think its great that you tell people about this horrible doctor!!.
