A rematch with VK would have been HUGE and make tons of money for Lewis. TONS! He was thrilled with the controversial ending to the Klitschko fight because if it continued or if there was a rematch, then the surely would have loss. The fact that he gave up the belt and retired is proof he knew it.

Lennox Lewis himself once said that his hunger motivated him more than the money and if he fights on, he will fight only for money and he doesn't want to. What does he have to prove after beating a young Vitali when he is fat, old and totally unprepared? Would anyone think a prepared Lewis would lose to Vitali? A rematch against Vitali would result in another victory for Lewis. Yeah, what's the point? If Vitali continued fighting after the 7th round, his career would have ended right there!

I remember when Lennox beat Vitalis ass taught him what pro boxing was like, even at 38 years old against a peak Vitali Klit. Good memories. Nothing else to prove. Shame both Klits are scared of fighting a young Lion like Haye. Buts thats life I suppose.
