  • the last spin that she did, what is it called? was that an "I" spin or a hyper-extended shotgun?...hehehe...just wonderin' cuz she grabbed her free leg differently

  • What did she place?

  • @HowsaBowsaYowsa Oh, PLEASE! You guys are in such denial...blaming a system, judges and other skaters for Sasha's failures when it is CLEAR that she didn't become a champion due to her own failures. Yes, she was a beautiful skater...and it really is a shame that she never realized her potential. But the truth is that Sasha lacked the heart and talent to become a true champion. How on earth were judges supposed to reward a skater who couldn't skate cleanly? She didn't deserve to win more!

  • @MissThingSings

    you exaggerate way too much!

  • @HowsaBowsaYowsa Um...Sasha flailed her arms each and every time she fell in an effort to brace herself as she crashed to the ice...which was OFTEN!!!

  • @faeryquene She did have great arm positions here as she did in all of her programs. It really does add to the overall wonderful artistry that she displayed. Perfect lines and meaningful arm movements that actually helped her with balance the way it is supposed to. Too many skaters today just flail their arms wildly at it looks unattractive. Sasha used her arms to compliment her body movements and add stability which is as it should be. Plus that wonderful stretch that nobody else could do.

  • I love this...I would have rated it 5 stars but with the changes in youtube doesn't appear to be an option anymore...I gave it a thumbs up if that helps!

  • @faeryquene Why do you think Sarah's sp was over marked....personally, I think that if anyone was over marked it was Kwan.(as usual)..she wasn't even bothering with a new program and watered it down to boot...I think that aside from Sasha's not being awarded the bronze she earned that the results were right on. I have said this before : Thank God for the Olympic Judges and that Michelle Kwan will NEVER wear Olympic Gold!! Sarah and Sasha skated with courage and fire...proud of them BOTH!!

  • Look at her arms! She was in top form here! I'll always feel she should have won at least bronze. Imo Sarah Hughes deserved to win the LP but her SP was way overscored. I wouldn't have had Hughes any higher than 4th or 5th overall.

  • @jaypz10 It just seems a variation on the I-spin.
