The Discus were hiding because of the bright setting sun, but the rest for the most part are clearly visible. Do water changes about once a month just to keep it from getting Old Tank Syndrome. There are not any problems between the shrimp and the Rams. I had Red Cherry Shrimp, but the Rams did make snacks of them. I do not use CO2 injection, but do supplement Flourish Excel Liquid CO2.

  • how much did everything in here cost combined?

  • @thewickednasties it was accumulated over time, but i would say everything everything would come out to close to $750 max, but it would be considerably more if i hadnt taken my time. tank with filter and stand was $400 being sold on local fish forum, lights $50 each also second hand, occupants maybe $100, but the discus are a large part of that cost. Driftwood was free, we collected it ourselves from the lake where the drought had made it accessible, plants and substrate maybe 150.
