HonorFlightStories.com presents "Ryan's Story" -- the first short video in our series to honor living World War II veterans, leading up to the premiere of the feature film Honor Flight.

Ryan Jazak is a volunteer for Stars and Stripes Honor Flight, a nonprofit hub out of Wisconsin that flies WWII vets to see their memorial in Washington, DC, at no cost to them. And he rides a sweet Harley!

Ryan posted on Facebook that he was selected as a "guardian" to accompany vet Al Exner on an Honor Flight. Ryan posted on Facebook that he was going to have a tough time coming up with the money to pay his way. His friends responded with their support and the checks poured in -- including a large check from Ryan's brother, Eric Jazak USMC who is stationed in Afghanistan.

well, I'm just a civilian, i doesn't matter if a soldier can kick my ass on the street. what matters is their mental and physical strength on the battlefield when their job it is to protect themselves, their comrades and their country.
