why do they have to keep talking about Lily not making it? Are they hinting around for what's to come in the future, and Lily asking Mac to be there for the baby in the event she does not make it! I don't know how much more of this i can take, i love lane more than words can say, but i have the feeling all of this is going to end in disaster and i will no longer be able to watch all the chaos !!! Why do they feel the need to take the most popular characters on the show and screw with them????

You've gotta give it to Cane. He learns from his mistakes. After Chloe's-alcohol induced set-up, Cane stopped drinking anything stronger than Coke. And now he blabs a secret as quick as he hears it. I love it (LOL)

I just love Cane and Lily. They look out for each other. Loved Cane saying he needs to get back to Lily. He didn't want to leave her in the first place. He really, truly loves her. She is all he thinks about. Lane has an amazing and inspirational love story. I love it!

Of course getting attached is a natural reaction, but of course she will give the baby up. 1. This is Mac who always does the right thing and 2. She will have to.

@G4666 Being a surrogate is one thing, but asking someone to essentially be a mother to your child if you should die is a huge commitment. Mac hadn't signed on 4 that, so I can understand her freaking out. Of course she'll come around. I think the problem will be that she will become too attached to Baby Ashby. Where are the writers going with this story? I'm uneasy. I'd like a lot less Mac with my Lane. Put her back with Billy. I was hoping Roxy would become Lily's new best friend.
