Sorry, but that car is supposed to have white wall tires.

Nice looking car. I've always loved Buick's full-sized cars.

@trashman642002 Great ride! Mom had a triple-black '71 Electra when I was just a toddler, and I still have fond memories of that great car. Good job in keeping yours in such great shape!

@trashman642002 Amen!! That's American steel also. No Jap, China, or Mexican garbage in these. Matter of fact, I bet you couldn't find one Jap or Mexican part in these when they were new. That's why they ran so good.

@trashman642002 Ironically I DID INDEED have that Problem! (with my 71 Electra and a 70 Deville! Only The 1930s-1940s Buick Limited exceded the 71-76 Electras in length (Those Limiteds were on the same basic frame as Cadillac Series 75s!)
Man that's one big car. Really incredible. Love the chrome lined vents in the hood . Certainly one of Americas finest!!

@Trex1268 Thanks. I'm usually a Pontiac guy, but this was too good of a deal to pass on. Let's keep the old steel on the road everyone !!!

@gitrdone1975 Way to go my friend ! You can't top driving something with a V-8 and rear wheel drive. I'm waiting for summer to cruise again.

To anyone trying to noodle out the "225" in the model name: This is from the length (in inches) of the original 1959 Electras. (The "225" name stuck around until 1979 2 years AFTER the '77 downsizing!) 1971 - 1976 Electras are actually BIGGER than the 1959-60 Originals! (225.7 In - 127In W.B. & 4,550Lbs!!!!) I had a 1971 Electra 225 back in 1983 it is still one of my favorites! . P.S. There was an Electra 380 in the Early FWD (1985) Electras, The 380 WAS a play on the 3.8 Liter engine though.

@WAQWBrentwood Thank You. This is a long car. Imagine when people bought these big cars and only had a small one stall garage
