When hand cranking something isn't it best to not wrap your thumb around the handle? that way if it kicks, it doesn't rip your thumb off in the process of turning back?

@Ndcar What makes you think I like asian cars? I wouldn't ever want to own a Honda or Toyota. I prefer sports cars. Right now I have a beautiful red Ferrari F355 spyder, although she has quite a few miles on her now, so I might be due for an upgrade soon.

@didleyjpn That's why I said that if one day I decide to move to Japan I'm taking my car =P

It may occur with bigger engine, but in 2CV some fingers may be hurt. I acually did.

First Citröen ever in Japan? Cause it´s not very normal to see European cars at Asia, and even more strange at Japan O.o If I decide to move one day to Japan, I´m taking my Peugeot 205!

@boleamj There are many 2CVs in Japan, but it is rare to see on the road recently, I guess they sleep in the garage. Newer Citroens can be seen offen. Peugeot 205 is also not watchable these days in Japan.

Great video, nice car, where was it shot?.
I demonstrated hand-cranking a 2CV to a Japanese engineer recently, he was amazed. If anyone wants a 2CV, look on the web, they are for sale all over Europe. Beware, they are fun and addictive!

Thank you. I took it at my home garage in Japan. I bought the 2CV last year and it cost me about 1 million yen. It is 1990 last model and very low mirage with good conditon. ( only 23,000km)
