Back in 2004 I was invited to observe, as a non-active party, the first anniversary celebration of an American couple in a bdsm dungeon located in San Diego. Imbued with the documentary spirit, I brought a 16mm camera hoping to capture this event on film. Unfortunately the couple declined to filmed. I present to you my attempt to recreate an important day in the lives of two people who love each other dearly.
